Baillie says Arsenault’s community focus, RCMP experience beneficial in next PC government
HALIFAX, NS – A former RCMP inspector and North End business owner will be the Progressive Conservative Party’s candidate in Halifax Needham.
Andy Arsenault secured the nomination after winning a three-way contest earlier this evening. Arsenault is excited about this new opportunity to serve his community.
“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to work for the people of Halifax Needham,” says Arsenault. “I look forward to speaking with them about how we can make our community safer, healthier and more prosperous for everyone.”
Arsenault believes in the vision Jamie Baillie has for the province, and is eager to work with him on making life better for Halifax Needham families.
“Jamie and his team have the knowledge, experience and long-term vison to get this province back on track,” says Arsenault. “I look forward to being a part of the PC team that returns fairness, competence and accountability to government.”
Baillie says Arsenault’s business and law enforcement background, together with his ongoing community involvement, will serve him well in the next PC government.
“Andy understands that Nova Scotia has not reached its potential under this Liberal government,” says Baillie. “We are not a poor province; we are a province that is poorly managed. With Andy’s help, we are going to change that.”
